Abstract

The Portland City Council yesterday ordered the structures at 74 Winter Street, 284 Brackett Street and 78 Anderson Street demolished. The structures, which have no heat, water or electricity, have been declared dangerous by the city's fire and building inspectors. The houses are the first targeted for razing in the city in more than a decade. Details.
