Abstract

State representative Ann Larrivee, D-Gorham, has introduced a bill which would reclassify four miles of the Presumpscot River from Class B to Class A, a move which would seriously limit what discharges would be allowed in the river. Windham officials are objecting to the reclassification because it would make it difficult to construct a sewage treatment plant proposed for the area. Details.
