Abstract

Two lawsuits filed against companies who allegedly violated Portland's gay-rights ordinance have been settled out of court, postponing the first legal test of the ordinance. Leslie Johnson of Portland accepted a $3,000 settlement from Bagel Works, while Cynthia Dowd and Bath Iron Works have agreed to keep the amount of their settlement confidential. Details.
