Abstract

The Legislature's Judiciary Committee yesterday held a hearing on a bill sponsored by Senate Minority Leader Pamela Cahill that would allow special circumstance physician-assisted suicides in the state. The bill, which had no co-sponsors and was held over from the 1993 legislative session, would require approval by Maine voters.
