Abstract

The 2,000 gallons of mineral oil that leaked from a broken heat exchanger at Central Maine Power Co's Wyman Hydro Station in Moscow Sunday were dispersed by the Kennebec River -- Oil-absorbing booms were deployed down river from the dam but recovered little of the oil, which is used to cool the transformers at the hydro station
