Abstract
In "Maine Voices," Cyrus Hamlin, a Kennebunk businessman, argues that a coastal ferry service connecting Portland and Eastport, with intermediate stops at Boothbay Harbor, Port Clyde, North Haven, Stonington, Southwest Harbor and Jonesport, is a viable idea and that Bath Iron Works is ideally suited to build the vessels needed to provide such a service -- Hamlin cites some of the information contained in a 1971 proposal for a Maine coastal transportation system that was put forward by his company, Ocean Research Corp
