Abstract

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection and Georgia-Pacific Corp have reached a negotiated settlement under which the papermaker will pay a $365,000 civil fine for air-quality violations that occurred at its Woodland mill between 1987 and 1993 -- The company said most of the violations occurred during the startup of a recovery boiler some years ago
