Abstract

Hockey East athletic directors yesterday voted to keep the University of Maine's hockey team from playing in the league playoffs after the team used an ineligible player -- The league declined to explain its decision and the University of Maine might seek a temporary restraining order against Hockey East -- Fred Hutchinson, president of the Univerity of Maine, believes that the action punishes students for actions for which they are not responsible and over which they had no control
