The Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland wants to covert about 12,000-square-feet of the parking space located below the main lobby of the hotel into exhibit space -- The change would enable the hotel to retain its current clientele and to attract larger convention groups -- The proposal will be considered by the Portland Planning Board at a workshop on Tuesday
