Abstract

"Sportsmen Say" piece reporting that the nonprofit Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust has purchased more than 3,000 acres of land from Boise Cascade Corp. The land includes the eastern part of Cupsuptic Lake, and the purchase falls under the state's Forest Legacy program, which was created to maintain public recreation opportunities, wildlife habitat and timber production on land threatened by development.
