Abstract

Lorilee Meserve, 27, of Portland yesterday found her two-year-old daughter Sarina Towle beaten to death in the child's bedroom in the family's Danforth Street apartment. The girl lived with her mother, her two brothers, and the mother's boy friend, Carl Bickham, 34. Police are investigating and no arrests have yet been made.
