Abstract

Long story describes Rick Linscott, a 31-year-old chemist in an area biotechnology firm, who was almost singlehandedly responsible for making known the presence of arsenic in Gorham's wells. Linscott discovered the arsenic when he was considering purchasing a home on Rte. 114 in Gorham. Details about testing and treating contaminated wells is included.
