Abstract

Former Olympians Joan Benoit Samuelson, Jeff Blatnick and Julie Parisien yesterday helped kick off the Maine U.S. Olympic Fund Raising Committee. The committee was formed by Ed Dinan of NYNEX, who chairs the statewide effort, and its goals are to raise public awareness of Maine's aspiring Olympians and to raise funds to help them realize their goals.
