Abstract

A Judiciary Committee public hearing heard from citizen's pleading for a bill to improve chances of getting visitation rights after a family is broken up. Maine's present law, due to expire in 1994, allows grandparents to petition the courts for visitation rights if at least one of the child's parents dies. Details.
