Abstract

The state Legislature seems ready to approve legislation that will allow companies investing $5 million and creating 100 jobs during a two-year period to claim tax credits worth 10 percent of their investment, up to $500,000 annually. The measure will save companies, and cost taxpayers, as much as $4.5 million a year, and is designed primarily for manufacturers. Details.
