Abstract

Challenges to candidates' petitions are being made in six legislative, gubernatorial, congressional and county races, with four of the challenges instigated by state representative John Michaels of Auburn. Michaels has filed challenges to legislative petitions filed by Rep. Susan Dore, D-Auburn; Rep. Constance Cote, D-Auburn; Androscoggin County District Attorney Janet Mills, who is seeking the Democratic nomination for the 2nd Congressional District seat; and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Joseph Brennan.
