Abstract

Cable subscribers in Cape Elizabeth and South Portland will be the first in the area to be served by Public Cable Co.'s new fiber-optic system, which is expected to be in service next month. Public Cable, with 57,000 subscribers in 15 municipalities in the Greater Portland area, hopes to have its $15 million to $20 million fiber-optic network completed by the end of the year. Details.
