Abstract

University of New England president Thomas Hedley Reynolds yesterday announced that the university will launch a two-year, master's level degree program to train physician assistants. The announcement comes nearly three weeks after the University of Southern Maine proposed creating new health and social work programs that could compete with similar programs at UNE.
