Abstract

Edward Mattar III, owner of Nasson College in Sanford, yesterday gave away furniture, books and other items kept in two campus buildings slated for demolition. The town notified Mattar last month that he was in default on a lease allowing him to operate the town-owned Anderson Learning Center, and since then Mattar has removed hedges and trees on the campus and announced plans to demolish the campus gymnasium and theater.
