Abstract

A committee of the Scarborough Town Council has recommended a 1994-95 town and school budget that would increase taxes by five percent. The $25.96 million budget reflects an increase of $2.1 million over the current cross budget, an 8.8 percent increase. If adopted, the budget would raise the tax rate from $16.30 per $1,000 of property valuation to $17.12 per $1,000 valuation. Details.
