"Marine Watch" piece reporting that Portland last year became the No. 5 fishing port in monetary terms in the United States, with seafood valued at $49.1 million landed. For quantity, Portland was ranked fifteenth, with 86.1 million pounds of fish and shellfish. Dutch Harbor-Unalaska, Alaska, was ranked first in both categories.
