Abstract
University of Maine forestry students yesterday began work on a project to remove tree growth near the Cliffside Bridge in Acadia National Park. The work will take place during the students' 10-day forestry camp, and is part of an $8 million project to maintain and restore the park's 45 miles of carriage roads. The project is funded jointly by the federal government and the Friends of Acadia. Details.
