Abstract

Ryan Werner of Scarborough, representing Liberty University of Lynchburg, Va., scored a personal best of 7,441 points on Saturday to win the IC4A decathlon at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. Werner is now looking toward the national event, to be held June 3-4 at Boise State in Idaho. Erik Nedeau of Kennebunk, representing Northeastern University, won the 800-meter run in a time of 1:46.97, the second-fastest outdoor time in the nation this year.
