Abstract

Anne M. Rand, 47, will face Richard Spencer, 50, in the Democratic primary for the seat representing Maine Senate District 28, which encompasses the southern half of Portland. Rand, a nurse and co-owner of Dale Rand Printing in Portland, has served four terms in the Maine House. Spencer, an attorney with Drummond Woodsum Plimpton & McMahon in Portland, is a co-founder of Portland Trails and a past president of the Maine Audubon Society. Details.
