Abstract

William Rosenbaum, a hearing officer for the Maine Department of Human Services, has issued a report that says Bruce and Jan Willson, operators of Hope House in Mechanic Falls, violated state confidentiality regulations when they told news reporters that Sherrie Cotton was a danger to her children. Cotton was later found guilty of manslaughter in the death of her 2-month-old son. DHS Commissioner Jane Sheehan will issue a final ruling on Rosenbaum's recommendation. Details.
