Abstract

State representative Judith Foss of Yarmouth yesterday attacked Sumner Lipman and Susan Collings, her chief rivals for the Republican nomination for governor, in an attempt to portray herself as being more conservative. Until Republican Senate Minority Leader Pamela Cahill, who is also a candidate in the race for the Republican gubernatorial nomination, aired a commercial attacking her opponents, the Republican race had been free of negative, personal attacks.
