Abstract

Ohio jurors yesterday completed four days of deliberations in a lawsuit filed against a hospital in Freemont, Ohio, that refused to treat Fred Charon, 29, of Portland, Maine, because he had AIDS. The suit, filed on behalf of Charon who died in 1993, seeks $100,000 in compensatory damages and $900,000 in punitive damages. The jury will resume deliberations next week.
