Abstract

Portland's Clark Memorial Methodist Church at Pleasant and Forest Avenues will begin sharing its facilities and expenses this weekend with the 13-year-old Korean United Methodist Church of Maine headed by Rev. Hyung Gyum Kim. Kim's congregation has 81 members and is the only Korean Methodist Church in the state. It shared facilities with South Portland's Thornton Heights United Methodist Church, which now needs the space for its own activities. The Korean congregation hopes to have its own church building sometime in the future.
