Abstract

Rev. Mutima Peter, a native of Rwanda, was separated from his wife and children in June 1993 when he fled his country to come to America. Now living in Portland, Mutima is trying to forge a sense of community among Africans living in Maine and has formed the African Fellowship International, which will hold its first fund-raiser tomorrow at Woodford Congregtional Church. The money will be used to aid refugees and to rescue remaining family members from refugee camps. Details.
