Abstract

Centre County (Pennsylvania) District Attorney yestereday presented his final arguments in his case against James R. Cruz Jr., 36, of Waterford, Ohio, trucker charged with the rape and murder of Dawn Marie Birnbaum, a 17-year-old, who ran away from the Elan School boarding home in Poland, Maine, on March 21, 1993, and was found murdered three days later. The jury was expected to begin deliberations after dinner. Detaisl.
