Abstract

Nine former S. D. Warren employees have filed an age discrimination suit over their 1991 layoffs. The suit alleges the company cut 40 percent of its salaried employees over 50 years of age but only 8 percent of its workers under 50 when it laid off 84 salaried employees in March 1991.
