The new branch will have about six times the space as the branch at Canal Plaza. It will house 2,200 post office boxes, three full-time counters, offices, stamp vending machines and a postal store--the first of its kind in Maine. About 20 parking spaces will be available to patrons on the Federal Street side of the building. With details of renovations and improvements planned for the building, which will house other tenants as well as the branch post office.
