Abstract

A rally was held on at Portland City Hall yesterday, marking the kickoff of the city's Gay and Lesbian pride weekend. Josette Huntress, 22, the current Miss Maine, addressed the group, which was also entertained by the Maine Gay Men's Chorus. Huntress made clear that she is not gay but that her best friend is.
