Abstract
St. Dominic's parish in the 1940s had three priests and two schools, and was prominent in the lives of its 1,800, mostly Irish, families. In 1990 St. Dominic's was twinned with Sacred Heart, with one priest assigned to cover both parishes, and the daily operations of St. Dominic's were turned over to Patricia Phillips. Phillips, a pastoral admistrator and lay woman, is one of at least 21 pastoral collaborators in the diocese. Details, related articles.
