Abstract

State officials yesterday revoked the driver's licenses of eight fathers who refuse to pay overdue child support, and a ninth quickly made arrangements to pay the $11,410 he owed. The eight men together owed their children more than $140,000. The Department of Human Services has sent notices to around 20,000 parents who are behind in child support payments since the Family Financial Responsibility Act was passed a year ago. Details.
