Abstract

Former Cumberland police chief Leon Planche says that he was fired from his position because of an earlier complaint he had made to the Maine Human Rights Commission. The earlier complaint against Town Manager Robert Benson was filed under the federal Whistleblower's Protection Act, which was later determined to be groundless.
