Abstract

Jason Magill, 50, of Saco, drowned in the ocean near the Old Orchard Beach town pier early yesterday morning after eluding a police officer. Magill was wanted in connection with a knife assault on his girlfriend, Penelope Coit, 50, and after being spotted in a car by police he ran into the water. Authorities have ruled the death an accidental drowning.
