Abstract

An anonymous Cumberland resident has pledged $35,000 to build an addition on the Prince Memorial Library, but the donation must be matched by private fundraising and the town. The $105,000 raised would towards adding 700 square feet to the southeastern corner of the library, with the new section to be used for young adults. The library's trustees recently raised $14,000 to buy books and equipment for the young adults' section.
