Abstract

The Portland Housing Authority has granted federal rent vouchers to Suwann Blaisdell, 23, and Stuart Brown, 30, residents of Sagamore Village who have been threatened in the wake of the June 19 brawl and car bombing in the public housing complex. Blaisdell's boyfriend, Paul Butler, 27, and Brown were beaten by a group of men during the incident. The housing authority is reviewing a request by a third resident, Tracy Rawding, to be allowed to move. Police have increased patrols in the complex since the incident occurred. Details.
