Abstract

Superior Court justice Stephen L. Perkins has ruled that Sentinel Service, a Portland answering service, violated state anti-discrimination laws when it refused to consider Connie C. Leblond, who is legally blind, for employment as a switchboard operator in 1990. Leblond was awarded $20,700 in back pay.
