Abstract
Guest piece by Gordon Rushton, general manager of the Ffestiniog lines in Portmadog, Wales, the world's oldest operating narrow-gauge railway. Rushton was in Portland last weekend for Railfair 94, and congratulated local efforts to revive the Maine Narrow Gauge Railway.
