Abstract

Members of Teamsters Local 25 of Boston yesterday picketed the production of the Stephen King miniseries "The Langoliers," which is being filmed at Bangor International Airport. The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Machine Operators of the United States and Canada ordered members of its union off the set, apparently in connection with the Local 25 demand that the film's producers, Laurel Entertainment Inc., pay union-level wages. The film is the only major movie production in the state this summer. Details.
