Abstract

Park Manufacturing Inc., the owner of Burlington Homes of Maine, said the company's Oxford plant will be reopened and fifty employees will be hired initially. Theresa Desfosses, owner of State Manufactured Homes of Scarborough, said the 20-member investor group that she leads last Friday closed on the purchase of Burlington from Consumers Water Co. of Portland. The $1.5 million financing package is 90 percent guaranteed by the Finance Authority of Maine.
