Abstract

Les Otten, owner of Sunday River Ski Area, and Bob Morrell, owner of Storyland in Glen, N.H., narrowly missed winning a contract to run trains from Conway, N.H., to Carroll, N.H. Otten's proposal included running ski trains in the winter, something for which Conway Scenic Railroad, the contract winner, had no plans.
