Abstract

Wright Express of South Portland yesterday announced that it has signed a deal with PSR Associates of Massachusetts for an additional 13,000 square feet of space at its Darling Avenue headquarters, which will give it a total of 25,000 square feet. The company, which provides trucking companies with credit cards that give detailed information about vehicles and drivers, has increased its work force from 72 to 134 employees over the past 18 months. John R. Birk, chief executive of Wright, said the decision to stay in Maine was based on the fact that the state is one of the least expensive places for the company.
