Abstract
Abby Zimet piece on the Big Sky Bread Co. of Portland, located in the old Deering central fire station at Woodford's Corner in Portland. Martha Elkus and Bill Harris, husband and wife and owners of Big Sky, started working on the bakery in February, and have learned to adjust to the 16-hour workdays.
