Abstract

Blockbuster Enterprises, the world's largest video rental company, has signed a lease on a 7,000-square-foot store on Elm Street in Waterville. The store will be the company's first in Maine, the only state remaining without a Blockbuster outlet. Blockbuster, which two months ago was spurned in an attempt to purchase Home-Vision Video of Brunswick, has annual revenues larger than its next 550 competitors combined. Details.
