Abstract

Editorial urging support for the efforts non-profit group Friends of the Maine State Museum to raise money money to conserve the flags carried by Mainers in conflicts dating from the Civil War to Desert Storm. Thus far, the group has raised about $30,000 of the estimated $300,000 to $900,000 believed to be needed to complete the project. The campaign is called "Save Maine's Colors."
