Abstract
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has dismissed a complaint filed by the group Friends of Sebago Lake that S. D. Warren Co. violated its license to operate the Eel Weir dam by raising the level of Sebago Lake. FERC at the same time ordered S. D. Warren to consult all parties involved in the dispute and submit a lake management plan for review. The commission's decision has reopened the debate over a long-term management plan for the lake, and a spokesman for Friends of Sebago Lake said it will allow the group the opportunity to comment on any plan submitted to FERC.
