Abstract

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland yesterday announced that it is out of money, and needs $40,000 to finish a duplex on Tate Street on which it is currently working. The organization started out its 1993-94 campaign with the ambitious plan of building four units on Tate Street by the end of the year, but was forced to shut down one duplex site in June due to a lack of funds.
